What is Parlo? How the AI concierge works on Telegram and WhatsApp

7 min read

Parlo is an AI concierge run by Parlo Labs Ltd. You message it on Telegram or WhatsApp, it quotes a live price for a mobile top-up, gift card, flight, hotel or car, and sends a checkout link. Here is how one order actually goes, and where the limits are.

Parlo is two things that share a name and a company. This guide is about the concierge: a chat assistant you reach through Telegram or WhatsApp that buys things for you. The Parlo app for Android is the other one: an assistant that makes phone calls on your behalf. Both are built and operated by Parlo Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 17195213.

What the concierge can order

You describe what you need in a normal message, in your own language. The concierge finds it from its suppliers, quotes a live price, and once you confirm, sends you a link to pay. Today it covers five things:

  • Mobile top-up to any operator in more than 150 countries. This is what most people use it for: airtime or a data bundle for a family member abroad.
  • Gift cards from over 900 brands, delivered by email to the recipient.
  • Flights on every IATA carrier, with live fares.
  • Hotels, with live availability.
  • Car rental from local agencies, currently in Morocco. The agency confirms the vehicle before you pay anything.

There is no app to install for any of this and no account to create. The chat is the account. If you already have Telegram or WhatsApp, you already have everything you need.

Where to find it

Both channels reach the same concierge with the same prices. Pick the app you already use. Every capability page on this site, such as this Inwi top-up from France, has a button that opens the chat with your request already typed.

How one order goes, step by step

Take a real example: 100 dirhams of Inwi credit for a number in Morocco.

  1. You say what you want.“Top up 100 MAD on Inwi for +212 6 12 34 56 78.” If you leave something out, such as the number or the amount, the concierge asks for it. It does not guess.
  2. It quotes. The reply names the product, the amount the recipient gets, and the price you pay, in your currency. The price comes from a live supplier quote at that moment.
  3. You confirm. One word is enough. Nothing is charged and nothing is ordered until you do.
  4. It sends a payment link. The link opens a checkout page hosted by Stripe for cards, or by PayPal, or a USDT invoice for larger orders. You enter payment details there, never in the chat. Parlo does not see your card number.
  5. Delivery. A top-up usually lands within a minute of payment. Gift cards arrive by email in about the same time. Flights and hotels confirm by email. Car rental waits for the agency to confirm the car first.

If you had Parlo credit on your balance, step four is skipped for the part your credit covers. See how credit works.

What it will tell you it cannot do

The concierge is built to name its limits rather than work around them. Things it will say no to, and why:

  • Send money or transfer balance to another person. Parlo credit is personal and cannot be moved between accounts, because transferable stored value would make Parlo a remittance service, which needs a licence it does not hold. It will offer to buy a service for that person’s number instead, which is allowed.
  • Charge you without a confirmation. Every order needs your explicit yes, and the price you confirm is the price on the link. If the supplier moves the rate between the quote and your confirmation, it re-quotes before charging.
  • Take card details in the chat. Payment happens only on the hosted checkout page. If anything asks for a card number inside a conversation, it is not Parlo.
  • Pay with methods it does not support. Card, PayPal and USDT on Tron are the three. Bank transfer, cash and other crypto are not accepted.

Languages

The concierge replies in the language you write in. The capability pages on this site are published in English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Hindi, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian and Tagalog, but the chat itself is not limited to those.

What Parlo makes on an order

Parlo buys from wholesale suppliers and charges you a marked-up price. The difference is its margin. That margin is also what the referral programme shares with people who bring their friends, and what the reseller programme discounts for people who sell locally. If you want to check the markup on a specific corridor yourself, the blog explains how to compare what you pay with what arrives.
