Option 1 — From the app (fastest)
- Open the Parlo app on your phone.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm with the SMS code we send to your registered number.
The app shows a 7-day grace period in case you change your mind. After that, deletion is irreversible.
Option 2 — By email
If you no longer have access to the app or your registered phone number, email us:
- To: contact@tryparlo.com
- Subject: Delete my account
- Include:the phone number you used to sign up. We may ask for a one-time verification (e.g. a recent in-app screenshot or a link clicked from the registered number) before we process the request.
We acknowledge requests within 2 business days and complete deletion within 30 days at the latest.
What we delete
- Your profile (phone number, display name, voice PIN hash).
- Your call history and transcripts.
- Voice recordings still inside the 30-day retention window.
- Push-notification tokens registered to your account on every device.
- Linked-service tokens (Uber, Bolt, Zendit, etc.) and OAuth refresh tokens.
- Any saved contacts you imported into Parlo.
What we keep, and why
- Anonymised, aggregated usage stats — these can no longer be tied back to you and we use them to improve the service.
- Records required to comply with legal, tax, or anti-fraud obligations (typically up to 7 years for billing records). These are isolated from the live system and access-audited.
- Backups containing your data are overwritten on the normal rotation (within 35 days of deletion).
What we cannot delete
- Records held by third parties to whom you sent calls (the businesses you contacted, your telephony carrier’s logs). We have no authority over those.
- Court-ordered legal holds, where applicable.
