Work at Parlo

Effective May 2026

Parlo Labs Ltd is a small, founder-led team building a voice-first AI assistant used in 60+ countries. We hire generalists who ship, care about user privacy, and like working close to the metal.

How we work

  • Remote-first. The team is distributed across Europe and North America. We overlap a few hours a day on European afternoons.
  • Small surface area, high ownership.Everyone ships to production. There are no “ticket queue” roles — you pick problems, scope them, and finish them.
  • Built on a tight stack. Rust + AWS Lambda for the backend, Flutter for mobile, Next.js for marketing. We re-use components ruthlessly and avoid frameworks we cannot read end-to-end.
  • Privacy by default. We do not retain voice audio, we do not sell data, we do not run third-party trackers. If that bores you, this is not the right team.

What we look for

  • You have shipped real software that real people use. The form of the resume matters less than the artifacts you can point to.
  • You can work end-to-end — backend, frontend, infra, even the boring parts — without waiting for someone else to unblock you.
  • You write clearly. We are async-heavy, so written explanation is how decisions get made.
  • You are kind, low-ego, and direct. We argue about ideas and ship the best one, regardless of who suggested it.

Open roles

We do not have public listings open right now. We are still a small team and we hire one role at a time, slowly, when the work in front of us clearly needs it.

That said, we always read introductions from people who would be great to work with. If that sounds like you, send us:

  • A short note about what you would want to work on at Parlo.
  • One thing you have built that you are proud of (a link is fine).
  • How to reach you.

Email contact@tryparlo.com with the subject line Careers. We read every message and reply within two weeks — even when the answer is “not right now”.

Equal opportunity

Parlo Labs Ltd is an equal-opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. We welcome applications from people whose backgrounds are not the loudest in tech.
